Offset rules

When detection requests are consumed, the resource plan quota is deducted based on the detection type and detection point location. Different detection types consume quota at different ratios.

Quota consumption ratios

Detection type Detection point location Quota per detection request
Site monitoring - PCs Carriers in China 1
Site monitoring - PCs Carriers outside China 5
Site monitoring - PCs LastMile detection points in China 20
Site monitoring - Mobile devices Carriers in China 36

Validity and effective time

  • A resource plan is valid for one year. Unused quota is automatically cleared when the plan expires.

  • A resource plan takes effect immediately after purchase. Fee offset happens the next day, when a bill is generated for the current day's usage.

Offset order for multiple plans

If you own multiple resource plans:

  1. The plan with the earliest expiration date is consumed first.

  2. If usage exceeds the total quota of all plans, the excess is charged on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Billing examples

Site monitoring - PCs

You purchase a resource plan with 2,000,000 detection requests and create a site monitoring task on June 1, 2024. The task sends requests to detection points in 20 regions of China Mobile, 10 regions of Amazon Web Services (AWS), and 5 LastMile detection points in China at a frequency of every 5 minutes.

Remaining detection requests on July 1, 2024:

  1. China Mobile requests = 60 / 5 x 24 x 30 x 20 = 172,800

  2. AWS requests = 60 / 5 x 24 x 30 x 10 = 86,400

  3. LastMile requests = 60 / 5 x 24 x 30 x 5 = 43,200

  4. Remaining = 2,000,000 - 172,800 - 86,400 x 5 - 43,200 x 20 = 531,200

Site monitoring - Mobile devices

You purchase a resource plan with 1,000,000 detection requests and create a site monitoring task on August 1, 2023. The task sends requests to mobile detection points in 2 regions of China Mobile at a frequency of every 5 minutes.

Remaining detection requests on September 1:

  1. China Mobile requests = 60 / 5 x 24 x 31 x 2 = 17,856

  2. Remaining = 1,000,000 - 17,856 x 36 = 357,184

Browser detection

You purchase a resource plan with 1,000,000 detection requests and create a browser detection task on July 1, 2023. The task sends requests to detection points in the China (Shanghai) region of Alibaba Cloud and the UK (London) region of Alibaba Cloud at a frequency of every 5 minutes.

Remaining detection requests on August 1:

  1. China (Shanghai) requests = 60 / 5 x 24 x 31 x 1 = 8,928

  2. UK (London) requests = 60 / 5 x 24 x 31 x 1 = 8,928

  3. Remaining = 1,000,000 - 8,928 x 10 - 8,928 x 50 = 464,320
