You can configure alert rules for a single server. You can also add servers to an
application group, and then configure alert rules by group.

Create an alert rule
- Log on to the CloudMonitor console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Host Monitoring.
- On the Host Monitoring page, click Create Alert Rule in the upper-right corner.
- In the Create Alert Rule panel, set the required parameters.
- Click OK.
Modify an alert rule
Note If an alert rule is in the Disabled state, you cannot modify the alert rule.
- Log on to the CloudMonitor console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Host Monitoring.
- On the Host Monitoring page, click Alert Rules in the upper-right corner.
- On the Alert Rules page, find the alert rule that you want to modify and click Modify in the Actions column.
- In the Create Alert Rule panel, modify the parameter settings.
- Click OK.
Delete one or more alert rules
- Log on to the CloudMonitor console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Host Monitoring.
- On the Host Monitoring page, click Alert Rules in the upper-right corner.
- Delete one or more alert rules.
- Delete a single alert rule
- On the Alert Rules page, find the alert rule that you want to delete and click Delete in the Actions column.
- In the Delete Alert message, click Confirm.
- Delete multiple alert rules at a time
- Select the alert rules that you want to delete and click Delete in the lower-left corner of the page.
- In the Delete Alert message, click Confirm.
View the details of an alert rule
- Log on to the CloudMonitor console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Host Monitoring.
- On the Host Monitoring page, click Alert Rules in the upper-right corner.
- On the Alert Rules page, find the alert rule that you want to view and click More in the Actions column.
View the alert history of an alert rule
- Log on to the CloudMonitor console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Host Monitoring.
- On the Host Monitoring page, click Alert Rules in the upper-right corner.
- On the Alert Rules page, find the alert rule whose alert history you want to view
and click Alert History in the Actions column.
You can view all alerts that are triggered based on the alert rule.
Disable one or more alert rules
Note You can disable an alert rule only if the Status of the alert rule is not Disabled.
- Log on to the CloudMonitor console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Host Monitoring.
- On the Host Monitoring page, click Alert Rules in the upper-right corner.
- Disable one or more alert rules.
- Disable a single alert rule
- On the Alert Rules page, find the alert rule that you want to disable, click the
icon in the Actions column, and then click Disable.
- In the Disable Alert Rule message, click Confirm.
- Disable multiple alert rules at a time
- Select the alert rules that you want to disable and click Disable in the lower-left corner of the page.
- In the Disable Alert Rule message, click Confirm.
