After you create an alert rule, you can modify, disable, enable, and delete it. You can also view the alert history and promptly handle the alerting resources.
Modify an alert rule
If an alert rule no longer meets your requirements for the monitoring metrics of a cloud service, you can modify it.

Log on to the Cloud Monitor console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alerts > Alert Rules.
On the Alert Rules page, find the alert rule that you want to modify and click Modify in the Actions column.
In the Modify Alert Rule panel, adjust the alert rule parameters.

Click Confirm.
Disable an alert rule
The default status of a new alert rule is Normal. If you need to stop a cloud service for maintenance or an upgrade, you can disable its alert rules to avoid unnecessary alert notifications during this time.

Log on to the Cloud Monitor console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alerts > Alert Rules.
Disable one or more alert rules.
To disable a single alert rule
Find the target alert rule, click the
icon in the Actions column, and then click Disable.In the Disable Alert Rule dialog box, click OK.
To disable multiple alert rules
Select the check boxes of the target alert rules, and then click Disable in the lower-left corner.
In the Disable Alert Rule dialog box, click OK.
Enable an alert rule
After you complete maintenance or an upgrade on a cloud service, you can enable its alert rules again. Once the rules are enabled, alert notifications automatically resume.

Log on to the Cloud Monitor console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alerts > Alert Rules.
Enable one or more alert rules.
To enable a single alert rule
Find the target alert rule, click the
icon in the Actions column, and then click Enable.In the Enable Alert Rule dialog box, click OK.
To enable multiple alert rules
Select the check boxes of the target alert rules, and then click Enable in the lower-left corner.
In the Enable Alert Rule dialog box, click OK.
Delete an alert rule
Deleting an alert rule stops its alert notifications.

Log on to the Cloud Monitor console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alerts > Alert Rules.
Delete one or more alert rules.
To delete a single alert rule
Find the target alert rule, click the
icon in the Actions column, and then click Delete.In the Delete Alert Rule dialog box, click OK.
To delete multiple alert rules
Select the check boxes of the target alert rules, and then click Delete in the lower-left corner.
In the Delete Alert Rule dialog box, click OK.
View alert history
View an alert rule's history and resource details to quickly locate and handle the alerting resources.

Log on to the Cloud Monitor console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alerts > Alert Rules.
On the Alert Rules page, find the target alert rule and click Alert History in the Actions column.
On this page, you can view the rule's Details, Alert Contact Group, Alert History, and Alerting Resources.
