Service settings allow you to integrate your business system with Chat App Message Service, making it convenient to use when you need to call the business system. This topic describes how to activate a business system and enable SMS.
Prerequisites
Alibaba Cloud account registration and enterprise authentication have been completed.
A channel has been created.
Activate a business system
Log on to the Chat App Message Service console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Channel Management.
On the Channel Management page, find the channel, and click its ID or click Manage in the Actions column.
On the channel details page, click Service Settings in the left-side navigation pane.
On the Service Settings page, click Open Business System.
In the Open Business System dialog box, set System Name, API Request URL, Signature, and Remarks as prompted.
NoteThe signature is used for authentication. When Chat App Message Service calls the API address, it will carry the generated signature. After filling in the API address, click the Refresh icon next to Signature to obtain the signature. Each time you click the Refresh icon, the signature will be updated.
To edit the business system, click the Edit icon next to the business system name. To delete the business system, click the Delete icon in the card.
Configure intent settings
Intents are triggering events created in your business system that can be called when designing message templates.
To add a new intent, you need to activate a business system first.
On the Service Settings page, click Intent settings in the business system card.
In the panel that appears, click Add, and then set Intent Code, Intent Name, and Default Intent Data as prompted in the dialog box.
Click OK.
Activate SMS
On the Service Settings page, turn on the Activate SMS switch. For more information, visit the SMS product page.
If you need to use the fallback feature, you must activate SMS. For more information, see SMS fallback.
Configure OTP delivery scheduling
On the Service Settings page, turn on the OTP Delivery Scheduling switch.
In the Countries Using Scheduling section, select the countries/regions where you want to use scheduling for sending.
Choose whether to turn on the Use Own Numbers switch based on your needs.
When the switch is turned on, if no scheduling resources are available for sending authentication messages to the selected countries/regions, your own numbers will be used for sending, which may incur international authentication rates.
When the switch is turned off, if no scheduling resources are available for sending authentication messages to the selected countries/regions, the sending will fail.
Click Save.
The OTP delivery scheduling feature is only available for WhatsApp channels and is used to send authentication messages to the specified countries/regions.
When using the OTP scheduling feature, message fees will be charged per message.
