When a user clicks an ad on a platform that has a button to send a WhatsApp message, such as Facebook or Instagram, to send you a message, you can get certain information about the ad. This topic describes how to query ad information.
Prerequisites
Alibaba Cloud account registration and enterprise authentication.
A WhatsApp channel is created. For more information, see Create a WhatsApp channel.
WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) onboarding is complete and the WABA is approved by WhatsApp. For more information about WABA onboarding, see WABA onboarding.
A Meta ad account is created in Ads Manager of Meta.
An ad that clicks to WhatsApp is created and published in Ads Manager of Meta. For more information, see Create Ads that Click to WhatsApp in Ads Manager.
Procedure
Log on to the Chat App Message Service console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Channel management.
On the Channel management page, click a channel ID or click Management in the Operation column that corresponds to the desired channel.
On the channel management page, click Advertisement information.
On the page that appears, select search conditions based on your business requirements.
Business number: the phone number of your enterprise bound to the ad. If a user clicks the dialog button in the ad, a message is sent to this phone number.
User number: the phone number of the user that can be used to chat with you. This condition is optional.
Advertisement ID: the ID of the ad that clicks to WhatsApp created in Ads Manager of Meta. This condition is optional.
Time range: the period of time during which a user clicked the button in an ad.
Query ad information.
