Chat App Message Service supports resource plans and pay-as-you-go billing methods.
Resource plans
You must purchase a resource plan before you can use Chat App Message Service to send messages. Purchase a resource plan based on your needs.
If you have purchased a resource plan, the points in the resource plan are deducted first when you use the service. You need to purchase another resource plan when the current one is used up. If you need pay-as-you-go billing, contact your account manager for details.
Resource plans cannot be used when your account has an overdue payment. The remaining points in used resource plans do not support unsubscription or extension.
The subscription duration of a resource plan is 12 months. Use the resource plan within its validity period. After the validity period expires, the resource plan becomes invalid. Resource plans that have expired are unavailable.
Chat App Message Service fees
Chat App message service fees do not vary by country or region, 50 points are deducted per session.
Whatsapp messaging fees
Points deducted vary by country or region and message type (1 point = USD 0.0001).
Billing example:
For resource plan billing: When a merchant sends a marketing message to a user in Malaysia, the list price for marketing messages in Malaysia is 860 points per session, and the Chat App Message Service platform fee is 50 points per session. The total points deducted are: 860 + 50 = 910 points.

Authentication messages and Authentication-International rates for Egypt, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and UAE will take effect on February 1, 2025.
