Term | Description |
landing zone | A cloud adoption framework from Alibaba Cloud that helps enterprises migrate business to the cloud. Landing zones help enterprises plan and implement resource structures, access security, network architectures, and security compliance systems to build a secure, efficient, and manageable cloud environment. |
management account | An Alibaba Cloud account that has passed enterprise verification and enabled a resource directory. The management account is the super administrator with full permissions over the resource directory, all folders, and all members. Each resource directory has exactly one management account. The management account does not belong to the resource directory and is not subject to its access control policies. |
Root folder | The top-level folder in a resource directory. All other folders are organized in a hierarchy under the Root folder. |
Core folder | Stores information about member accounts used for management purposes. |
Applications folder | Stores information about member accounts used for specific business operations. |
billing account | An account designated for unified settlement across an enterprise. Agentic Cloud Governance Center records the specified billing account and recommends it for unified settlement when you create member accounts. Note Settlement methods of member accounts created before you activate Agentic Cloud Governance Center are not affected. |
shared service account | A resource-type member account used to deploy shared services for an enterprise. |
log archive account | A resource-type member account used to collect logs from all member accounts. |
Agentic Cloud Governance Center | The new name after the overall brand upgrade of Cloud Governance Center, a unified governance platform for the Agentic Cloud era. |
Cloud governance maturity detection | Formerly 'governance maturity detection', a governance health detection system for general cloud resources (ECS/OSS/RAM/VPC, etc.) covering 336+ detection items across the five pillars. |
AI governance maturity detection | A governance health detection system for AI workloads including AI platforms (Bailian/PAI), Agent runtimes (AgentRun), AI gateways, and AI safety guardrails, with scoring independent from cloud governance maturity detection. |
Five pillars | Security, stability, cost, efficiency, and performance. Cloud governance and AI governance share the pillar framework, but their detection items do not overlap. |
