This topic describes the limits on Cloud Enterprise Network (CEN) and how to apply for quota increases.

Limits on CEN instances

Item

Default value

Adjustable

Maximum number of CEN instances that each Alibaba Cloud account can create

5

You can use one of the following methods to increase the quota:

Limits on Enterprise Edition transit routers

Enterprise Edition transit routers

Item

Default value

Adjustable

Maximum number of CIDR blocks that can be added to a transit router

5

No

Network instance connections

Item

Default value

Adjustable

Maximum bandwidth supported by each virtual private cloud (VPC) connection, Express Connect Router (ECR) connection, VPN connection, or virtual border router (VBR) connection

50 Gbit/s in the China (Hangzhou), China (Shanghai), China (Beijing), China (Shenzhen), and Singapore regions. 10 Gbit/s in other regions.

No

VPC connections

Maximum number of VPCs that can be attached to a transit router

1,000

No

Maximum number of transit routers to which a VPC can be attached

5

You can use one of the following methods to increase the quota:

VBR connections

Maximum number of VBRs that can be attached to a transit router

You can use one of the following methods to increase the quota:

VPN connections

Maximum number of IPsec-VPN connections that can be attached to a transit router

50

You can use one of the following methods to increase the quota:

Maximum number of transit routers to which an IPsec-VPN connection can be attached

1

No

Maximum number of VPN connections supported by a transit router for equal-cost multi-path (ECMP) routing

16

No

Inter-region connections

Maximum number of inter-region connections supported by each pair of transit routers

1

No

Maximum bandwidth supported by an inter-region connection when the bandwidth allocation mode for the inter-region connection is pay-as-you-go and the regions connected by the inter-region connection are in the Chinese mainland

1000 Mbps

You can use one of the following methods to increase the quota:

Maximum bandwidth supported by an inter-region connection when the bandwidth allocation mode for the inter-region connection is pay-as-you-go and the regions connected by the inter-region connection are outside the Chinese mainland

100 Mbps

You can use one of the following methods to increase the quota:

Maximum bandwidth supported by an inter-region connection when the bandwidth allocation mode for the inter-region connection is pay-as-you-go and one of the regions connected by the inter-region connection is outside the Chinese mainland and the other is in the Chinese mainland

100 Mbps

You can use one of the following methods to increase the quota:

ECR connections

For more information, see Express Connect quotas.
