Products and metering methods supported by CDT

Cloud Data Transfer (CDT) aggregates and bills Internet data transfers and cross-region data transfers for multiple Alibaba Cloud products in a centralized manner. This topic describes the metering methods, maximum bandwidths, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the Alibaba Cloud products supported by CDT.

CDT bills Internet data transfers and cross-region data transfers in a centralized manner. The following table describes the products for which CDT supports billing.

Note

After CDT is activated and used to bill data transfers for Alibaba Cloud products, all existing and new pay-by-data-transfer instances are automatically billed in CDT in a centralized manner, and pay-by-bandwidth instances continue to be billed in the Alibaba Cloud products. You can choose Expenses > User Center to go to the Expenses and Costs console and click Bill Details to view the billing data in CDT.
Check whether you have a pay-by-data-transfer instance. If you only activate CDT but do not have a pay-by-data-transfer instance, you do not enjoy the data transfer benefits of CDT.

Maximum bandwidths and SLAs for the products supported by CDT

The following table provides the maximum bandwidths and SLAs of pay-by-data-transfer instances for the products supported by CDT. You can use bandwidths based on your business requirements.

CLB	For each Alibaba Cloud account, the sum of the maximum bandwidths of all pay-by-data-transfer Internet-facing CLB instances in a region cannot exceed 5 Gbit/s.	Service availability of at least 99.95% for a multi-zone instance. Service availability of at least 99.00% for a single-zone instance.
