The storage management feature allows you to view the storage usage of audit session data and configure its storage duration.
Background
When storage is full, Bastionhost deletes the oldest audit session data. Set a storage duration for audit session data that suits your business requirements.
View storage status
Log on to the Bastionhost console. In the top navigation bar, select the region where your Bastionhost instance is located.
In the list of Bastionhost instances, find the target instance and click Manage.
In the navigation pane on the left, click System Settings > Data Management.
Click the Storage Management tab.
In the Storage Status section, view the storage usage of session videos and log backup files.
Configure automatic session data deletion
When storage is full, you can enable automatic deletion for session data and set a maximum session data storage duration. After you apply the settings, Bastionhost automatically deletes data older than the specified duration.
Log on to the Bastionhost console. In the top navigation bar, select the region where your Bastionhost instance is located.
In the list of Bastionhost instances, find the target instance and click Manage.
In the navigation pane on the left, click System Settings > Data Management.
Click the Storage Management tab.
In the Automatic Deletion of Session Videos section, select the Maximum Session Data Storage Duration checkbox, set the duration, and then click Save.
NoteValid values: 1 to 9,999 days. Default: 180 days.
If storage capacity is still exceeded after the deletion, Bastionhost automatically deletes the oldest data.
If you do not enable an automatic deletion rule, Bastionhost overwrites the oldest data by default when storage is full.
Manually delete session data
Log on to the Bastionhost console. In the top navigation bar, select the region where your Bastionhost instance is located.

In the list of Bastionhost instances, find the target instance and click Manage.
