RAM users can perform operations and maintenance (O&M) on authorized applications directly from the Bastionhost console using a browser-based remote connection.
Supported editions
Enterprise Edition and SM Edition
Basic Edition instances do not support this feature. To use it, upgrade your instance to Enterprise Edition or SM Edition.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that:
An administrator has granted O&M permissions to your Resource Access Management (RAM) user. For details, see Grant the Bastionhost administrator role.
An administrator has added the application to Bastionhost, imported your RAM user, and granted you permissions to the application assets and asset accounts. For details, see Add and configure an application, Manage users, and Authorize application assets.
Connect to an application
Log on to the Bastionhost console. In the top navigation bar, select the region where your Bastionhost instance is located.
In the instance list, find your instance and click Manage.
In the left navigation pane, choose Asset O&M > Application O&M.
On the Application O&M page, find the target application.
In the Remote Connection column, click the drop-down list. In the dialog box that appears, select an application account, set the login method to Web Remote Connection, and click Login.
The application's O&M page opens in your browser. You can now perform O&M operations on the application.
