Upgrade schedule

The upgrade schedule varies by region and version. For specific upgrade times, see the following table. The schedule excludes non-business days.

Upgrade period

Region

November 24, 2025 to January 16, 2026

All regions on the Alibaba Cloud International site (alibabacloud.com)

Impact

  • After the upgrade is complete, you must clear your browser cache or perform a hard refresh before you log on to the O&M portal for the first time.

  • During the upgrade, your Bastionhost instance will be in the Upgrading state. The upgrade process takes about 20 minutes and causes a service interruption of about 1 minute. We recommend performing the upgrade during off-peak hours.

How to upgrade

Bastionhost displays an upgrade window in the console. You can view the upgrade period in the upgrade window. If you want to change the upgrade time, you can specify a time for the automatic upgrade or choose to immediately upgrade the instance. For more information, see Configure an upgrade for a V3.2 instance.

  • Automatic upgrade: Specify a time for the automatic upgrade. When the specified time is reached, your Bastionhost instance is automatically upgraded to the latest version.

    • System-scheduled upgrade time: a random time that is allocated by the system within the upgrade period.

    • Custom upgrade time: a time that you specify for the upgrade.

  • Manual upgrade: Manually trigger an upgrade to immediately upgrade your Bastionhost instance to the latest version.

    Warning
    • The system-scheduled upgrade time may overlap with your business peak hours and affect your services. To prevent service interruptions, we recommend that you schedule the upgrade during off-peak hours.

    • If you do not manually upgrade your Bastionhost instance or specify a custom upgrade time, your Bastionhost instance is automatically upgraded within the system-scheduled upgrade period.
