Application Real-Time Monitoring Service:Manage integrations

Last Updated:Mar 11, 2026

ARMS Integration Management provides a centralized view of all objects and data monitored by your Alibaba Cloud account. From this page, you can add, configure, update, and uninstall monitoring components deployed across your environments.

Prerequisites

  • Application Real-Time Monitoring Service is activated. For more information, see Activate ARMS.

View installed components

  1. Log on to the ARMS console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Integration Management.

  3. On the Integrated Addons tab, review the list of enabled components.

    Note

Results are filtered by your Alibaba Cloud account and the selected region.

  4. Click a component to view the environments where it is installed. A single component can be integrated into multiple environments.

  5. On the Environments tab, find the target environment and click View Details in the Actions column.

The environment details page displays the following information:

Field

Description

Cluster ID or VPC ID

The ID of the associated ACK cluster or ECS instance, along with its CIDR block.

Environment Name

The name of the environment. You can modify this value.

Region

The region where the environment is deployed.

Default Metric Storage

The Prometheus instance that stores metrics collected from this environment. This instance is typically created together with the environment.

Resource Group

The resource group assigned to the environment.

Tags

The tags attached to the environment.

Add an integration

  1. In the left-side navigation pane, click Integration Management.

  2. On the Integrated Addons tab, click Add Integration.

  3. Select the component to install and follow the on-screen instructions.

Update a component

Each component can have multiple integration records. To update a specific integration record:

  1. On the Component tab, find the integration record.

  2. In the Actions column, click Settings.

  3. Follow the prompts to apply the update.

Note

Updating a component also updates its associated dashboards and alert rules. The scope of changes depends on whether the component version changes:

  • Same version: Minor changes only, such as updated input parameters or non-breaking dashboard and alert rule updates.

  • New version: Significant changes. Update to the latest version to get all improvements.

Uninstall a component

Uninstalling removes a single integration record. Dashboards and alert rules associated with a component are deleted only after all integration records for that component are removed.

To uninstall an integration record:

  1. On the Component tab, find the integration record.

  2. In the Actions column, click Uninstall.

  3. Follow the prompts to confirm the uninstallation.

View workload details

To check the runtime status of an integration, find the record on the Component tab, then click the query icon icon or Go to Instance List in the Actions column.

The workload page shows different information depending on the component type:

Component type

Workload information

Host monitoring

List of ECS instances.

Java application monitoring

List of pods and associated application details.

Middleware monitoring

Pod status of exporters, indicating whether the integration is successful.
