You are charged by Application Monitoring Pro Edition based on the number of hours for which agents run.

Application Monitoring Pro Edition provides the following types of resource plans. You can purchase resource plans on the buy page of Application Monitoring.

Usage notes
You must activate Application Monitoring Pro Edition before you use resource plans. If you are using Application Monitoring Basic Edition, you cannot use resource plans.
If your Alibaba Cloud account has multiple resource plans, Application Monitoring offsets quotas from the resource plans in chronological order based on the expiration time. If the quotas of the resource plans are used up, you are charged for the excess resource usage based on the pay-as-you-go billing method.
You are charged for the total number of hours that all applications are online. The part that is less than one hour is counted as one hour. Bills are settled on a daily basis.
Each agent can monitor one application, such as a Tomcat instance or a Java process.
By default, trace data is stored for 30 days and metric data is stored for 90 days.
Billing cycle
The billing cycle of Application Management is one day. Application Management generates the bills of the previous day at 00:00 every day. Generally, bills are generated before 08:00. If your Alibaba Cloud account has sufficient balance, the system deducts fees from the balance. You can view bills in the Billing Management console and view resource usage in the ARMS console. Bills may be generated later than expected.
