ApsaraDB for OceanBase:Change a destination topic

Last Updated:Mar 19, 2024

This topic describes how to change a destination topic when you configure a data synchronization project.

Scenario

When you create a project to synchronize data from OceanBase Database to a message queue instance, the data transmission service allows you to change a destination topic by using the Change Topic feature after you specify a topic type.

Procedure

  1. Configure a data synchronization project to the Select Synchronization Objects step.

For more information, see the topics for data synchronization projects of the corresponding type.

    Note
    • When you synchronize data from an OceanBase database to a RocketMQ instance, only the Existing Topics mapping method is supported.

    • When you synchronize data from an OceanBase database to a Kafka or DataHub instance, if you do not select Schema Synchronization when you select the synchronization type, you can select only Existing Topics. If Schema Synchronization is selected as the synchronization type, you can select only one mapping method to create or select topics.

  4. Click OK.

  5. Complete subsequent project settings as prompted.
