This topic describes how to change the name of a data synchronization task.
Limitations
The data transmission service allows you to change the name of a task in the Not Started, Running, Paused, or Failed state.
If you have created a sub-task to modify the synchronization objects during the running of a data synchronization task, you cannot change the task name. For more information about how to modify the synchronization objects, see View and modify synchronization objects and their filter conditions.
The name of a task is a unique identifier for the task of the corresponding user.
Procedure
Log on to the ApsaraDB for OceanBase console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Transmission > Data Synchronization.
On the Data Synchronization page, move the pointer over the name of the target task and click the Edit Task Name icon that appears.
Alternatively, you can click the name of the target task to go to its details page and then click the Edit icon next to the task name.
In the Edit Task Name dialog box, enter the new name of the task.
Click OK.
