This topic describes how to view and change the private and public endpoints and ports of an ApsaraDB MyBase for PostgreSQL instance.

View the private and public endpoints and ports of an instance

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB MyBase console.
  2. In the upper-left corner of the page, select a region.
  3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Instances > PostgreSQL.
  4. Find the instance whose information you want to view and click Details in the Actions column. Then, you can use one of the following methods to view the private and public endpoints and ports:
    • In the Basic Information section of the Basic Information page, click See Details next to the Network Type field. In the panel that appears, view the private and public endpoints and ports of the instance. View database connection address - method 1
    • In the left-side navigation pane, click Database Connection. On the page that appears, you can view the private and public endpoints and ports of the instance. View database connection address - method 2
    Note The public endpoint of an instance is displayed only after you obtain a public endpoint for the instance. For information about how to apply for a public endpoint, see Apply for or release a public endpoint.

Change the private or public endpoint or port of an instance

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB MyBase console.
  2. In the upper-left corner of the page, select a region.
  3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Instances > PostgreSQL.
  4. Find the instance for which you want to change the private or public endpoint or port and click Details in the Actions column. Then, you can use one of the following methods to change the private or public endpoint or port of the instance:
    • In the Basic Information section of the Basic Information page, click See Details next to the Network Type field. In the panel that appears, click Change Endpoint. Change database connection address - method 1
    • In the left-side navigation pane, click Database Connection. On the page that appears, click Change Endpoint. Change database connection address - method 2
    Note The public endpoint of an instance is displayed only after you obtain a public endpoint for the instance. For information about how to apply for a public endpoint, see Apply for or release a public endpoint.
  5. In the Change Endpoint dialog box, select a connection type, enter the prefix of a new endpoint, specify a port number, and then click OK.
    Note
    • The endpoint can contain lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens (-). It must start with a lowercase letter.
    • The endpoint must be 8 to 64 characters in length.
