This topic describes how to manage a host account. After you create an account for
a host in your ApsaraDB MyBase for SQL Server dedicated cluster, you can change the
password of the host account and delete the host account.
Change the password of a host account
- Log on to the ApsaraDB MyBase console.
- In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region where your dedicated cluster
is deployed.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Hosts.
- On the page that appears, find the host that you want to manage and click Details in the Actions column.
- On the Host Information tab, click Reset Password in the Host Account field.
- In the dialog box that appears, enter a new password, confirm the password, and then
click OK.
The password must meet the following requirements:
- The password must be 8 to 32 characters in length.
- The password must contain at least three of the following character types: uppercase
letters, lowercase letters, digits, and special characters.
- The password cannot contain the account name (case-insensitive).
- The password can contain the following special characters:
! @ # $ % ^ & * () _ + - =
Delete a host account
- Log on to the ApsaraDB MyBase console.
- In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region where your dedicated cluster
is deployed.
- In the left-side navigation pane, click Hosts.
- On the page that appears, find the host that you want to manage and click Details in the Actions column.
- On the Host Information tab, click Delete in the Host Account field.
- In the message that appears, click OK.
