This topic provides a billing case to describe the billing rules based on which you are charged for ApsaraDB MyBase.
A user named Alan creates an ApsaraDB MyBase dedicated cluster that runs the MySQL database engine in the China (Beijing) region, and purchases two hosts that use enhanced SSDs (ESSDs) and a specification of 8 cores and 16 GB memory in the ApsaraDB MyBase dedicated cluster. The following table lists the billable items.
|Host||The subscription fee for the hosts in the ApsaraDB MyBase dedicated cluster. The monthly fee for the two hosts is USD 338. This fee is calculated by using the following formula: 2 × 169 = USD 338.|
|Storage||The storage fee for ESSDs. Only the pay-as-you-go billing method is supported. The subscription billing method is not supported. The unit price is USD 0.1958 per GB-month. The monthly fee for 500 GB of ESSDs is USD 97.9. This fee is calculated by using the following formula: 0.1958 × 500 = USD 97.9.|
If no more billable items are added, Alan is required to pay USD 435.9 per month. This fee is calculated by using the following formula: 338 + 97.9 = USD 435.9.
