This topic describes how to view the information about different types of resources within a namespace on the Cluster Resources page. The resources include services, ingresses, pods, deployments, StatefulSets, and DaemonSets.

Go to the Overview page

  1. Log on to the ARMS console .
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Kubernetes Monitoring.
  3. In the top navigation bar of the MNS console, select the region where your cluster is deployed.
  4. On the Kubernetes Monitoring page, click the name of the Kubernetes cluster whose resources you want to view.
  5. In the Namespace section of the Cluster Resources page, click the intersection of a namespace and a resource type.
    Note
    • If you click an area in blue, all resources of the selected type within the selected namespace are displayed.
    • If you click an area in red, the abnormal resources of the selected type within the selected namespace are displayed.
  6. In the upper-right corner, select a time range from the date and time picker. Then, click the tab of the resource type that you want to view.
On the resource tab, you can view the following information about each resource of this type: name, labels, the numbers and time series curves of requests and errors, average response time and its time series curve, and number of alerts.

You can click the Operators that are used to sort data rows. icon in the Requests, Number of errors, or Average response time column to sort the resources in ascending or descending order based on the number of requests, number of errors, or average response time.

    Note
    • If an error occurs within a resource, its time series curve of the number of errors is displayed in red.
    • If alerts are triggered on a resource, the number of alerts is displayed in red.

Service tab

On the Service tab, you can view the following information about each service: name, labels, the numbers and time series curves of requests and errors, average response time and its time series curve, and number of alerts.

Kubernetes monitoring - Service tab
On the Service tab, you can perform the following operations:
  • Filter services by using one or more of the following filter conditions: name, status, and label.
  • Click the name of a service to view the details and related resources of the service. For more information, see Service details.
  • Move the pointer over the curve of a metric for a service to view the specific statistics at the specified point in time.
  • Click Enable Health Check in the Operation column of a service to enable the health inspection feature for the service. After the feature is enabled, click View Health Check in the Operation column to view the health inspection information of the service. For more information, see Perform inspections.
  • Click View YAML in the Operation column of a service to view the YAML file of the service.
