This topic describes how to manage domain names, change the protocols and certificates for domain names, and configure an HTTPS cipher suite for domain names in Cloud-native API Gateway.
Create a domain name
If you want to associate independent domain names with Cloud-native API Gateway instances in a region in the Chinese mainland, you must apply for ICP filings in the Alibaba Cloud ICP Filing system or add Alibaba Cloud as a service provider to the ICP filing information of the domain names. If you want to associate independent domain names with Cloud-native API Gateway instances in a region outside the Chinese mainland, ICP filings are not required.
Cloud-native API Gateway supports multi-domain name management that allows you to manage protocols, certificates, and route configurations of different domain names. ICP filing must be completed for domain names in advance. For more information, see Create a domain name.
Delete a domain name
For more information, see Delete a domain name.
Change the protocol and certificate of a domain name
The protocol or certificate of a domain name must be changed typically in the following scenarios to ensure website security and regulatory compliance:
The SSL certificate is expired. In this case, a new certificate is required to encrypt data being transmitted.
The domain name owner is changed.
The protocol of the website is changed from HTTP to HTTPS.
For more information, see Change the protocol and certificate of a domain name.
Configure an HTTPS cipher suite
The version of your Cloud-native API Gateway instance must be 2.0.0 or later.
Cloud-native API Gateway allows you to configure an HTTPS cipher suite for a client. An HTTPS cipher suite is a set of encryption algorithms and protocols that are used to establish secure communication between a server and a client, such as a browser. This way, the data security, compatibility, performance optimization, and regulatory compliance can be ensured when you use a gateway instance.
