This page describes refund eligibility for AI Gateway by billing method and how to unsubscribe from subscription instances.

Refund rules

Refund eligibility depends on the billing method of your AI Gateway instance.

Subscription

Subscription instances qualify for a refund when business adjustments make the resources unnecessary. Submit an unsubscription request through the AI Gateway console. Review the refund rules on this page before you submit a request.

Pay-as-you-go

Pay-as-you-go instances are billed based on actual resource usage. No refunds apply.

Note

If a pay-as-you-go AI Gateway instance is no longer needed, back up or migrate your data without affecting your business, then release the instance. Billing stops after the instance is released.

Unsubscribe from a subscription instance

  1. Log on to the AI Gateway console.

  2. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Instance. In the top menu bar, select a region.

  3. On the Instance page, note the ID of the instance to unsubscribe from.

  4. At the top of the page, choose Expenses > Expenses and Costs.

  5. In the left-side navigation pane, click Unsubscriptions. On the Unsubscribe from In-use Resources tab, enter the instance ID in the Instance ID text box, and then click Search.

  6. In the Actions column of the refund list, click Unsubscribe Resource.
