Modify a CNAME record for Traffic Scheduler
After you add a scheduling rule in Traffic Scheduler, you must update the CNAME record for your domain name to direct traffic to Traffic Scheduler and activate the rule. This example uses a domain name hosted on Alibaba Cloud DNS.
Prerequisites
You have added a scheduling rule in Traffic Scheduler. For more information, see Traffic Scheduler overview.
Background
When you add a scheduling rule, Traffic Scheduler generates a CNAME address for that rule. You must update the CNAME record for your domain name to point to this address so that traffic is directed to Traffic Scheduler.
