    Anti-DDoS:Enable mitigation analysis

    Mitigation analysis is a free, public-preview feature that lets you query and analyze mitigation logs and view mitigation reports for Anti-DDoS Origin instances.

    Support for mitigation analysis varies by edition and site.

    Prerequisites

    Before you begin, ensure that you have:

    • An Anti-DDoS Origin instance of a supported edition

    • Resource Access Management (RAM) authorization completed. If not yet authorized, complete authorization during the procedure below

    Procedure

    1. Log on to the Traffic Security console.

    2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Network Security > Anti-DDoS Native > Mitigation Logs.

    3. In the top navigation bar, select the resource group to which the instances belong and the region in which the instances reside.

      • Anti-DDoS Origin 1.0 (Subscription) instances: Select the region in which the instance resides.

      • Anti-DDoS Origin 2.0 (Subscription) and Anti-DDoS Origin 2.0 (Pay-as-you-go) instances: Select All Regions.

    4. (First-time users) Complete RAM authorization:

      1. Click Authorize Now.

      2. On the Cloud Resource Access Authorization page, click Confirm Authorization Policy.

      3. Return to the Mitigation Logs page and refresh.

    5. Select an Anti-DDoS Origin instance and click Upgrade Now.

    6. On the Upgrade/Downgrade page, enable Mitigation Logs.

    7. Read and select Anti-DDoS Origin Terms of Service, then click Buy Now.

    8. Complete the payment.

      Note

      Mitigation analysis is free of charge and under public preview. After payment completes, you must manually enable the feature.

    9. On the Mitigation Logs page, click Enable Now.

    Anti-DDoS Origin begins collecting mitigation logs from the instance and storing them in Simple Log Service. To enable or disable mitigation analysis at any time, toggle Status on the Mitigation Logs page.

    Next steps
