AnalyticDB:Billing of configuration changes

Last Updated:Apr 24, 2025

This topic describes how AnalyticDB for MySQL clusters are billed when you change cluster configurations.

Subscription

Upgrade configurations

Upgrade fee = (Daily unit price after upgrade/24 hours/3,600 seconds) × Remaining subscription period - (Daily unit price before upgrade/24 hours/3,600 seconds) × Remaining subscription period.

Important
  • If the remaining subscription period is less than 365 days, the daily unit price is calculated as the monthly unit price divided by 30.

  • If the remaining subscription period is greater than or equal to 365 days, the daily unit price is calculated as the annual unit price divided by 365.

  • Billing of configuration changes is accurate to the second.

Downgrade configurations

For information about refund rules for downgrade, see Rules for unsubscribing from resources.

Pay-as-you-go

This billing method lets you use resources before you pay for them. You are billed on an hourly basis based on the upgraded or downgraded specifications of your cluster.
