    Problem Description

    Failed to send the email and a return email is received. It contains the return semantics similar to the following example: the mta server of ...(x.x.x.x) reply:...

    the mta server of example.net -- mxmail.example.net(x.x.x.x) reply:451 4.3.2 Internal server error at 2023-01-09

    Cause

    The recipient rejected the email.

    Solutions

    • The "the mta server" refers to the recipient server.

    • The "example.net" is usually the domain name of the recipient's email address.

    • The "mxmail.example.net(x.x.x.x)" is the recipient's MX server and server IP address.

    • "reply:" is followed by the return semantics returned by the receiver server. This semantics is usually customized by the receiver and the reason for returning can be interpreted literally in general.

    • If the solution still cannot be solved, we recommend that you consult the email administrator or service provider of the recipient to check the reason for returning the letter.
