Alibaba Mail:How to Set Receiving Permissions of Mail Groups/ Groups?

This topic describes how to modify the permissions of email groups or groups.

Procedure

1. Login domain management page by postmaster account>> DEPTs & Users>> Mail Groups>> Mail Groups. Click the name of the mail group or group whose permissions you want to modify.

2. Go to the mail group editing page, find the Group Permissions, and select the receiving permission that you want to set.

Description

Mail Group Permissions

Only same domain accounts can send emails to the mail group.

It means that only accounts with the same domain, that is, the same email suffix, are allowed to send emails to this email group. This option is set by default.

Only mail group members can send emails to the mail group.

It indicates that only members of this mail group are allowed to send messages to this mail group.

Allow all accounts to send emails to a mail group.

There are no restrictions on the email accounts that send emails to this mail group.

Only whitelisted accounts can send emails to the mail group.

This means that only the email accounts in the whitelist have the permission to send emails to this mail group.

Whitelist list:

  • Add Manually;

  • Batch Selection;

  • Bulk Import: import the txt files and put one email address per line.

The maximum number of whitelists is 1000.

Allow mail group members and whitelisted accounts to send emails to the mail group.

Both the mail group members and the whitelist have the permission to send emails to this group.
