Overview
When you use Alibaba Mail during the communication, you usually communicate with an account in the same domain name, but sometimes you also receive emails from an email account that does not exist in the same domain. This article mainly introduces the solution in this case.
Details
When using Alibaba Mail, you will receive emails from email accounts that do not exist in the same domain, which can be divided into the following types of email accounts:
An unfamiliar account that does not belong to an existing contact
An existing contact account
Unknown Account
If you receive the email from an unknown account, the email may be a malicious phishing email. For more information, please check Phishing Email Protection Security Guide.
Account of The Known Contact
If the sender of the unfamiliar email is the account of an existing contact, you need to confirm whether it is the email sent by the sender himself. The following are the handling methods for different situations:
1. After confirmation, if the sender himself has not sent the email and has logged in to another place after being embezzled before, please properly manage the account information to avoid being embezzled again.
2. After confirmation, the sender himself has not sent the email, and the sender's email is not embezzled. Then, it may be a misleading email sent by criminals by forging the sender's identity. If you need to determine whether it is a forged sender's email, please log in to the Alibaba Mail web page and place the cursor at the sender's account position. If it is a forged mail, a mark similar to A represents B will appear in the sender display column, indicating that A represents B's email.
