What Is Alibaba Mail Confidential Mode?
Email confidential mode refers to sending emails and attachments through confidential mode to protect sensitive information. User can enable confidential mode through advanced options when composing emails. Options include:
1. Email Watermark (optional for postmaster and recipients): The sender can setup to display the watermark of the recipient's display name and email address when the recipient reads the email. The watermark will be also displayed in the citation module when forwarding or replying to the email.
2. Set Validity Time (Custom Time): The sender can set the validity time of the email. After the validity period is exceeded, the body will be invisible.
3. Forbid Forwarding, Copying and Downloading (only for Alibaba Mail clients): The sender can disable the recipient from sending, copying and downloading the email.
4. Mail Encrypted: Recipients are allowed to access the email with password only.
How Does the Email Confidential Mode Operate?
Sender: On the email editing page, click More Options > Customize Setting up confidential Mail.
After opening, there will be a Confidential Mode description area and you can directly change the information security protection settings there.
After the email is sent successfully, the recipient will also receive a corresponding reminder.
