ActionTrail supports single-account trails, multi-account trails, and trails for the Inner-ActionTrail feature. The limit on the number of trails varies based on the type of trail. You can create and use different types of trails based on your business scenarios and management requirements to ensure effective operation monitoring and auditing within the limits of trail quantity.

Single-account trails: five in each region.
Multi-account trail: one trail for all regions.
Trails for the Inner-ActionTrail feature: one trail for all regions.
