Container Service for Kubernetes:Document

Last Updated:Mar 26, 2026

If you no longer need to use Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK), you can unsubscribe from the associated cloud services. For subscription services such as resource plans, Alibaba Cloud issues refunds according to the unsubscription policies. For pay-as-you-go resources, refunds are not applicable. You can stop billing by releasing or deleting the resources through the console.

Stop billing

Delete your ACK clusters and associated cloud resources to stop being billed.

  • When deleting a cluster, you will be prompted to simultaneously delete the associated cloud resources. Choose to delete or retain these resources based on your needs. For more information, see Delete ACK clusters.

  • Review resource usage in each cloud service console and remove any billing resources you no longer need. For more information about the cloud services associated with clusters, see Cloud service billing.

ACK clusters cannot be stopped or put into sleep mode to pause billing. To reduce costs while keeping the cluster running, release idle resources such as ECS nodes. For more information, see Billing FAQs.
