Container Service for Kubernetes:Lingjun node management fees

Last Updated:Mar 26, 2026

Lingjun node management fees apply when you manage Lingjun compute nodes through Lingjun node pools in an ACK Pro managed cluster.

The free invitational preview for Lingjun node management ends on August 05, 2025, and commercial billing begins on that date. For details, see Billing announcement: Lingjun node management. During the invitational preview, Lingjun node pool usage is free. Other fees — cluster management fees and cloud product resource fees — apply as usual. For details, see Billing overview.

Billing overview

Managing Lingjun nodes in an ACK Pro managed cluster incurs three independent sets of fees:

Fee What it covers Billing trigger
Cluster management fees Management of the ACK Pro managed cluster control plane Charged while the cluster exists
Lingjun node management fees Batch management, automated operations and maintenance (O&M), and heterogeneous resource scheduling for Lingjun compute nodes Charged only when a Lingjun node pool contains at least one Lingjun node
Cloud product resource fees Underlying cloud resources such as compute, storage, and networking Charged based on the individual resource billing rules

Each fee is billed independently. Lingjun node management fees are not charged if a Lingjun node pool exists but contains no Lingjun nodes.

Lingjun node management fees

Lingjun node pools provide the following capabilities for AI training, inference, and High-Performance Computing (HPC) workloads:

  • Batch management and automated O&M of Lingjun compute nodes

  • Heterogeneous resource scheduling, including GPU sharing and topology-aware scheduling

  • Rich scheduling policies and task priority queues for AI and HPC jobs

  • Unified management and delivery of AI resources and payloads

Billing summary

Billing item Billing method Billing cycle Billing unit
GPU cards in Lingjun node pools Pay-as-you-go, tiered cumulative Daily GPU card/day

The daily fee is based on the maximum number of GPU cards reported on that day. The system periodically collects GPU counts and uses the highest value recorded for the day.

Pricing tiers

GPU cards are billed using a tiered, cumulative method. The fee for each tier applies only to GPU cards within that tier's range.

Tier Number of GPU cards Unit price
Tier 1 1–100 USD 1.5625/GPU card/day
Tier 2 101–500 USD 1.25/GPU card/day
Tier 3 501–1,000 USD 0.9375/GPU card/day
Tier 4 > 1,000 USD 0.625/GPU card/day

Example: If your cluster reports a maximum of 600 GPU cards on a given day, the daily fee is calculated as:

  • Tier 1: 100 cards × USD 1.5625 = USD 156.25

  • Tier 2: 400 cards × USD 1.25 = USD 500.00

  • Tier 3: 100 cards × USD 0.9375 = USD 93.75

  • Total: USD 750.00
