Account Center:Verify your identity - Enterprise account

Last Updated:Oct 20, 2025

To comply with local laws and regulations, you must complete identity verification for your Alibaba Cloud account, if you plan to sign online contracts, apply for credit limits, join the Alibaba Cloud Partner Network (ACPN), or purchase specific cloud products and services deployed in the Chinese mainland. This guide walks you through the enterprise identity verification process. Completing enterprise verification establishes your company as the legal owner of the account, enabling access to the full range of cloud services and enterprise-specific features.

Process overview

The process consists of submitting your verification information and a manual review. The manual review typically takes about 3 business days. You will receive the verification result by email.

You can start enterprise identity verification with either an individual or enterprise account. After you complete enterprise identity verification, you cannot change the account type back to individual. Confirm your choice before you proceed. For a detailed comparison, see Identity verification overview.

Before you begin

Make sure that your account type is Enterprise. You can check it and your country/region in the Basic Information section of the Account Center.

Prepare a valid, government-issued business certificate from the same country/region as your account, and provide a clear, complete, color scan or digital photo of the certificate.

Note

Applicable users: This guide is for enterprise users of the Alibaba Cloud international website (alibabacloud.com). If you only have a Chinese resident ID card, go to the Alibaba Cloud China website (aliyun.com) to register and make purchases. For details, see Differences between the Alibaba Cloud websites.

Tips for a success

Do:

  • File format: JPG, JPEG, PNG, or PDF.

  • File size: You can upload up to 2 files. Each file cannot exceed 5 MB.

  • Use high-quality images: Use a color scan or a clear photo. Ensure all four corners are visible, and there is no blur, glare, or shadow.

  • Check each piece of information to ensure it exactly matches your certificate before you submit.

Don't:

  • Use screenshots, photocopies, or digitally altered images. Only original scans or direct photos of the document are accepted.

  • Upload a document that does not belong to your enterprise.

  • The enterprise is registered in a different region than the certificate.

  • Modify or forge document information.

  • Submit an expired or invalid document.
