Account Center:Reset a forgotten password

Prerequisites

Use your account's username or email address to verify your identity. If your account email or phone is unavailable, file an appeal to update it. Account email address is unavailable.

Reset your password

1. On the Alibaba Cloud homepage, click Log On, and then select Forgot Password.

   

2. On the Retrieve Password page, enter your username or email address, and then click OK.

   

3. Select a verification method. Available methods include text message and email, depending on your account's security settings.

   • If your account email or phone is unavailable, file an appeal to update it. Account email address is unavailable.

4. After verification, the Reset logon password page appears. Set a new password that meets these requirements:

   • Length: 8 to 20 characters

   • Contains only uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, and punctuation marks (no spaces)

   • Must contain at least three of: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, and punctuation marks

   

5. You can now log on with your new password.
