This topic describes how to configure an application. The WordPress application image is used in the example.

Prerequisites

An application server that runs the WordPress application image is created. For more information, see Create an application server by using the WordPress application image.

Obtain the logon information of the application

  1. Log on to the Simple Application Server console.
  2. On the Servers page, find the created application server that runs the WordPress application image and click Details.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Application > Application Details.
  4. In the WordPress Information section, click Copy to copy the command used to query the password.
  5. Click Connect.
  6. On the command line, right-click the blank and select Paste.
    After you run the pasted command, you can obtain the password of the administrator of WordPress, as shown in the following figure.wordpress password
  7. Right-click the password and select Copy.
  8. Close the dialog box. In the WordPress Information section, click the link corresponding to Administrator Logon Address.
    You can enter the administrator account admin and the password that you copied in the previous step to log on to WordPress.
    After you log on to WordPress, the Dashboard page of WordPress appears.

Update account profile

We recommend that you update your profile to facilitate subsequent operations.

  1. Log on to WordPress.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Users > All Users.
  3. On the Users page, move the point over admin and click Edit.
  4. After you edit the profile, click Update Profile.
    The following configurations are edited in this example:
    • Email (required) in the Contact Info section: Enter your email address.
    • New Password in the Account Management section: Click Generate Password and change the password to your custom one.
