Billing methods for Quick BI editions and value-added modules - Quick BI

The minimum subscription duration for Quick BI is one month. You can select your desired number of users and subscription duration. You will receive a renewal notification before your subscription expires. This topic describes the billing methods for Quick BI.

Quick BI pricing is based on the number of users and the subscription duration. A user license is required to create or view reports in Quick BI. You can purchase the number of user licenses that you need. For more information, see Quick BI purchase, upgrade, renewal, and overdue payments.

Important

If your instance has an overdue payment, it may be suspended. You will receive a reminder to renew your subscription. To avoid service disruptions, renew your subscription promptly.

Note

The Alibaba Cloud International Website (www.alibabacloud.com) offers the Personal Edition,Advanced Version, Enterprise Standard Version, and Enterprise Role-based Version. The Enterprise Standard Version and Enterprise Role-based Version have the same features. The main difference is that the Enterprise Role-based Version lets you purchase General User and Viewer licenses separately.

Value-added module fees

Workbooks	Advanced Version: $750/year. Enterprise Standard Version: Ready to use.
Visualization Screens	$120/year per dashboard. A minimum of two dashboards must be purchased. Additional dashboards are purchased in increments of two. The Enterprise Standard Version includes five free dashboards.
Acceleration Engine Expansion-Extraction	Advanced Version: Extraction acceleration supports up to 100 million rows for a single table. The scale-out fee is $1,000/5 GB. 2 GB of capacity is included by default. Enterprise Standard Version: Extraction acceleration supports up to 100 million rows for a single table. The scale-out fee is $1,000/5 GB. 10 GB of capacity is included by default.
Additional Embedded Reports	For theAdvanced Version with 5/10/20/50/100/150/200/300 users, you can purchase an additional 5/10/20/50/100/150/200/1,000 embedded reports, respectively. The fee is $30/year per report. For the Enterprise Standard Version with 50/100/200/300 users, you can purchase an additional 100/200/500/10,000 embedded reports, respectively. The fee is $30/year per report. Note TheAdvanced Version includes a number of embedded reports equal to the number of users by default. The Enterprise Standard Version includes a number of embedded reports equal to twice the number of users by default.
Q Dashboard Agent	$100 per user. You can purchase these users separately. The number of users purchased must match the number of user licenses. For example, if you have the Advanced Version with 10 users, you can choose to purchase 0 or 10 Q Dashboard users. Note This feature is currently available only in the China (Hong Kong) and Malaysia regions. It will be available in other regions soon.
Q Chat Agent	Purchase rules: The Advanced Version, Enterprise Standard Version, and Enterprise Role-based Version can be purchased as add-ons. The number of add-ons must be equal to the total number of users. For example, if you have the Enterprise Standard Version with 50 users, you can purchase 0 or 50 Q Chat users. If you have the Enterprise Role-based Version with 50 general users and 10 viewers, you can purchase 0 or 60 Q Chat users. Pricing rules Advanced /Enterprise Standard Version: $100 per user. The Enterprise Role-based Version uses tiered pricing: For up to 500 total users, the fee is $100 per user. For the 501st to 1,000th user, the fee is $50 per user. For users beyond 1,000, the fee is $25 per user. For example, for a Enterprise Role-based Version with 100 general users and 500 viewers, the fee for Q Chat users is 500 × $100 + 100 × $50 = $55,000.00. Note This feature is currently available only in the China (Hong Kong) and Malaysia regions. It will be available in other regions soon.
Enhanced ticket-based embedding	$7,000/year. Enterprise Standard Version users can purchase this feature separately if they have fewer than 100 general user licenses. Note This feature cannot be purchased by default. To purchase it, contact the Quick BI product operations team. If you later upgrade to 100 general users, you will receive a refund.

Role-based user purchase

The billing method for the Enterprise Role-based Version is described below. The actual purchase price prevails.

1. Can be added as organization members as needed and can be assigned one of three user types: Developer, Analyst, or Viewer.

2. A tiered pricing model applies: The fee is $360 per user for the first 99 users. The fee is $240 per user for the 100th to 300th user. The fee is $50 per user for each user after the 300th.

Visitor

1. Cannot be added as workspace members. Can only view reports for which they have been granted permissions.

2. A tiered pricing model applies: The fee is $80 per viewer for the first 499 viewers. The fee is $30 per viewer for the 500th to 1,000th viewer. The fee is $10 per viewer for the 1,001st to 5,000th viewer. The fee is $2 per viewer for each viewer after the 5,000th.

Example:

An enterprise purchases a one-year subscription of the Enterprise Role-based Version that includes 50 general users ($18,000), 10 viewers ($800), and 20 data dashboards ($2,400). The total fee is $21,200. The actual purchase price prevails.
