Enterprise Distributed Application Service:Create and manage a WeCom chatbot

After you create a WeCom chatbot in the alert management module in the Enterprise Distributed Application Service (EDAS) console, you can specify the required WeCom group to receive alert notifications in a notification policy. When the dispatch rule of the notification policy is triggered, EDAS automatically sends an alert notification to the specified WeCom group. After the alert notification is received in the WeCom group, you can manage the alerts in the WeCom group.

Prerequisites

A WeCom group is created on the WeCom client to receive alert notifications.

Step 1: Obtain the webhook URL of a WeCom chatbot

  1. Start and log on to the WeCom client.

  2. In the upper-right corner of the WeCom group that you want to manage, click the 更多图标 icon. Then, click Add Chatbot.

  3. On the Add Chatbot page, click Create Chatbot.

  4. On the Create Chatbot page, specify a custom name for the chatbot and click Create.

  5. Click Copy URL to save the webhook URL of the WeCom chatbot.

Step 2: Create the WeCom chatbot in the EDAS console

  1. Log on to the EDAS console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Application Management > Applications.

  3. In the top navigation bar of the Applications page, select a region. From the Microservices Namespace drop-down list, select a microservices namespace. From the Cluster Type drop-down list, select ECS Clusters. Then, click the name of the application that you want to manage.

  4. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alert Management > Contact.

  5. On the DingTalk/Lark/WeCom tab, click WeCom. In the Create WeCom Chatbot panel, configure the following parameters and click OK.

    Specify a custom name for the WeCom chatbot.

    Chatbot Webhook URL

    Enter the saved webhook URL of the WeCom chatbot.

    Whether the Chatbot Sends Daily Statistics

    Specify whether the WeCom chatbot sends daily statistics. If you select the check box, you must configure the Sending Time of Daily Statistics parameter to specify the time points at which statistics are sent. Specify each time point in the HH:SS format and separate multiple time points with commas (,). EDAS sends the total number of generated alerts, solved alerts, and alerts to be solved on the current day at the specified points in time based on the alert management feature.

Manage alerts in the WeCom group

After an alert notification is received in a WeCom group, you can view and manage the alerts in the WeCom group. For more information, see Handle alerts in a group chat.

What to do next

After you create a notification object, you can query, edit, or delete the notification object on the DingTalk/Lark/WeCom tab.
  • To search for a notification object, enter a keyword of the object name in the search box and click the Search icon.
  • To edit a notification object, find the notification object and click Edit in the Actions column. In the panel that appears, modify the information and click OK.
  • To delete a notification object, click Delete in the Actions column of the notification object. In the message that appears, click OK.
