    Tair (Redis® OSS-Compatible):Enable the release protection feature for an instance

    To prevent important instances from being released by accident and improve system security, you can enable release protection for pay-as-you-go Tair (Redis OSS-compatible) instances. After you enable release protection for an instance, you cannot release the instance by using the console or by calling an API operation.

    Prerequisites

    The instance for which you want to enable release protection is billed on a pay-as-you-go basis.

    Procedure

    1. Log on to the console and go to the Instances page. In the top navigation bar, select the region in which the instance that you want to manage resides. Then, find the instance and click the instance ID.

    2. In the Instance Status section, click the switch to the right of Instance Release Protection to On.

      Note

      To release an instance, first Off instance release protection.
