DNS resolution for Alibaba Mail

Last Updated: Mar 05, 2019

Add DNS resolution records for an email domain name
• If your email domain name and email services are not managed by the same Alibaba Cloud account, you must add DNS resolution records for the email domain name by logging on to the console using the Alibaba account that manages the domain name. You can use the email services only after the DNS resolution takes effect.
Follow these steps to configure DNS resolution:

  1. Log on to the Alibaba Cloud console, click Products, and then click Alibaba Cloud DNS to enter the Manage DNS page. Then, on the Domains tab page, click Configure in the Actions column for the target domain name.
  2. On the DNS Settings page, click Add Record to add DNS records.
If neither your domain name nor your DNS services are provided by Alibaba Cloud, contact your domain registrar to help you configure DNS resolution.
DNS resolution usually takes effect 10 minutes after it is configured.
The following tables describe the DNS resolution records created for Alibaba Mail.

The following table lists the new configurations of DNS resolution.
