We’re pleased to share our latest monthly update newsletter, which summarizes the key international feature updates for Alibaba Cloud Security products in January 2026.

The highlights include:

Anti-DDoS Origin (proxy EIP form) supports non-web CC attack protection;

Cloud Firewall log delivery now supports simultaneous delivery to regions inside and outside Mainland China;

CTDR renamed to Agentic SOC.

Anti-DDoS

Feature: Anti-DDoS Origin (Proxy EIP Mode) Supports Non-Web CC Attack Protection (Dec. 17, 2025)

Customer value: Targeting gaming and internet customers with demanding security requirements, this solution supports TCP port-based access for non-web application-layer services, enabling protocol identification, payload inspection, and the deployment of customizable and intelligent protection policies. This capability is currently not available from major domestic competitors such as Tencent Cloud and Huawei Cloud.

Security Center

Feature: Security Center-CTDR Renamed to Agentic SOC (Jan. 15, 2026)

Customer value: Starting January 15, 2026, the Cloud Threat Detection and Response (CTDR) feature in Alibaba Cloud Security Center will be upgraded and renamed to Agentic SOC. The new name better reflects the product's next-generation security operations capabilities driven by AI Agents.Please refer to Official Documentation for more details.

Feature: CSPM Supports the Latest Versions of NIST and PCI DSS Compliance Standards (Feb. 5, 2026)

Customer value: Supports checking the procurement and configuration of cloud products against NIST and PCI DSS standards, helping to prevent security incidents such as data breaches and system failures caused by misconfigurations.

Cloud Firewall

Feature: Cloud Firewall Log Delivery Now Supports Simultaneous Delivery to Regions Inside and Outside Mainland China (Jan. 29, 2026)

Customer value: For both China and international Cloud Firewall users, logs from assets in Mainland China and non-Mainland China can be delivered separately to designated regions, meeting log compliance requirements.

Feature: Public IP Addresses of Cloud-Native API Gateway and AI Gateway Now Support One-Click Protection (Feb. 2, 2026)

Customer value: Cloud Firewall now offers one-click protection that automatically secures the public IPs of cloud-native API Gateway and AI Gateway, reducing attack surface exposure and ensuring compliance.

KMS

Feature: KMS Now Supports TEE Enclave Attestation (Dec. 26, 2025)

Customer value: When using KMS, users can leverage the TEE module for core identity authentication, utilizing the TEE Enclave as a trusted attestation source for credential management and cryptographic operations-enabling a more secure authentication framework.

Feature: OSS Server-Side Encryption Now Supports KMS Key Sharing Across Multiple Accounts for Encryption (Jan. 7, 2026)

Customer value: Users can leverage shared keys to enable server-side Encryption for OSS, ensuring flexible and secure encryption of cloud resources with their own keys.

IDaaS

Feature: Launched Managed Capabilities for Cloud Accounts and Cloud Roles (Jan. 28, 2026)

Customer value: Launched the Asset Center, which now supports managing identities-including cloud accounts and cloud roles-and enables managed hosting of RAM roles within Alibaba Cloud accounts. This helps customers manage cloud roles more efficiently and lays the foundation for integrated security visibility across cloud products, enabling unified identification, risk assessment, and governance of identity-related security risks.Please refer to Official Documentation for more details.

IDV

Feature: Alibaba Cloud IDV Launches Authoritative Data Source in Indonesia (Jan. 30, 2026)

Customer value: ID card and facial information can be verified against Indonesia’s Ministry of Home Affairs (Dukcapil) official database, accurately detecting fraud such as fake documents and face swapping, significantly reducing financial loss risk.Please refer to Official Documentation for more details.
