Hardness the Power of Gen AI Using Alibaba Cloud Model Studio API

This blog describes how to create our own Generative AI application using Alibaba Cloud Model Studio API and python.

Introduction:

Alibaba Cloud Model Studio stands as a sophisticated, unified platform engineered for the creation and implementation of foundational AI models. Grounded in the advanced Qwen models suite, it furnishes a complete ecosystem designed to facilitate the development and deployment of models like

● Qwen-Max,
● Qwen-Plus,
● Qwen-Turbo, and
● the latest Qwen 2 series.

This platform empowers users to adapt these models uniquely to their enterprise datasets through a streamlined process of configuring a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) framework effortlessly. Alibaba Cloud Model Studio enables innovators to focus solely on crafting value-added applications within a securely isolated cloud environment, effectively mitigating privacy and security concerns.

In this blog we are going to see how to create our own Generative AI application using Alibaba Cloud Model Studio API and python. In my case i have created an application to display the details of the capital of the one of the southern tip of the world ie,Kanyakumari,woow!!! it has displayed exactly correct with all the details.

Step-1: Download and Install Python 3.8 as shown below

Step-2: Install Alibaba Cloud Model Studio SDK for Python by using pip command as shown below.

● pip install dashscope
● pip install dashscope –upgrade

Step-3: Accessing the API Key from the Alibaba Cloud Model studio Dashboard.

Step-4: Configure a temporary environment variable for setting the DASHSCOPE_API_KEY

Step-5: Run the python coding for accessing the Alibaba Cloud Model Studio model with the question Introduce the capital of Kanyakumari.

Step-6: Now you will get the result for the asked question. In my case it is Introduce the capital of Kanyakumari as shown below.
