This topic describes the pricing details for International Voice Service.
Billing rules
International Voice Service charges two types of fees: a fixed monthly fee for each DID number and call fees. Call fees for voice Captchas, voice notifications, and group voice calls are based on the outbound or inbound rates of the number's country or region.
For example, to send voice Captchas from a Thailand number, purchase a Thailand DID number and pay the monthly fee. Outbound call fees are then charged per minute at Thailand rates.
Monthly fees
DID numbers are charged a fixed monthly fee per number.
The monthly fee varies by country or region. Billing starts in the month the number is activated. A partial month is billed as a full month.
To stop incurring monthly fees, unregister the number on the Number Management page in the VS console. You are still charged for the month in which you unregister the number.
ImportantInternational numbers are a scarce resource. You cannot unregister a number during its contract period. After the contract period ends, unregister unused numbers promptly to avoid additional monthly fees.
Call fees
Call fees apply when international voice numbers are used for voice notifications, voice Captchas, or group voice calls.
International Voice Service supports both pay-as-you-go billing and resource plans. Resource plans are available only for select countries. The unit price varies by country or region. For inbound and outbound rates, contact your account manager.
Monthly fees
The following table lists monthly fees for select countries and regions. Prices are for reference only and subject to change. For fees for other countries, contact your account manager.
The estimated provisioning time for an international voice number is 15 business days after purchase.
The number type is two-way Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). The connection protocol is Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) over IP.

Resource plans
After you purchase a resource plan, you can use it to cover number and call fees for International Voice Service. The deduction rate varies by country and region.
Billing type: Per minute. A partial minute is billed as a full minute.
Deduction ratio: 1:10,000.
After you use up a plan, purchase a new one. Alternatively, contact your account manager to switch to pay-as-you-go billing.
Resource plans are non-refundable.
You cannot use resource plans if your account has an overdue payment. You also cannot unsubscribe from a plan that is in use to receive a refund for the remaining resources.
Resource plans are valid for 12 months.
