Certificate Management Service:Billing for HTTPS Acceleration Gateway

Last Updated:Feb 06, 2026

This topic describes the billable items, billing methods, expiration policies, and refund policies for the HTTPS Acceleration Gateway service.

Billable items and billing methods

HTTPS Acceleration Gateway service fees are based on the number of instances you purchase, the Gateway Resource Calculation Quantity (GRCQ), and the subscription duration.

GRCQ is calculated based on two metrics: website requests and outbound traffic. When both requests and outbound traffic occur within the same hour, a minimum of 2 GRCQ are consumed. No GRCQ is consumed if there are no requests and no outbound traffic within that hour. The rules are as follows:

  • Website requests: 1 GRCQ per 150 requests. If the number of requests in one hour is more than 0 and up to 150, one GRCQ is consumed.

  • Outbound traffic: 1 GRCQ per 30 MB. If outbound traffic in one hour is more than 0 MB and up to 30 MB, one GRCQ is consumed.

The following table lists the amount of GRCQ included with HTTPS Acceleration Gateway instances for different subscription durations. Estimate the number of GRCQ you need based on your website visits. If the included resources are insufficient, you can purchase more GRCQ. For more information, see Purchase GRCQ.

Pricing

For pricing details, see the HTTPS Acceleration Gateway purchase page and the GRCQ purchase page. To purchase the HTTPS Acceleration Gateway service in the Certificate Management Service console, see Purchase an HTTPS Acceleration Gateway.

Service expiration

If your HTTPS Acceleration Gateway instance expires or your GRCQ is depleted, your website can no longer be securely accessed and accelerated over HTTPS. This also affects your website's search engine ranking. To prevent service interruptions, take action before your service expires.

  • HTTPS Acceleration Gateway instance: 30 days before your instance expires, the system sends you an expiration reminder by email. If you do not repurchase the instance within 30 days after it expires, the instance is released and cannot be recovered.

  • GRCQ: When your remaining GRCQ drops below 30%, the system sends you an email every two days, reminding you to purchase more GRCQ. For more information, see Purchase GRCQ.

Refund policy

A full refund is available for instances that are not activated within seven days of purchase. For detailed refund rules, see Refunds for HTTPS Acceleration Gateway.

Important

GRCQ additional resource packages are not refundable.
