Machine Translation is available in the universal edition and professional edition. Both editions include a free monthly quota. Beyond the free quota, you can use pay-as-you-go or purchase a resource package.

Both editions include 1,000,000 characters free per month.
Billing options
Pay-as-you-go
Pay-as-you-go charges $0.000033 per character ($33 per million characters) at the standard rate. No quantity discount applies. If you have not purchased a resource package, or your resource package is exhausted, charges fall back to the pay-as-you-go rate.
Resource packages
Resource packages offer a lower per-character rate than pay-as-you-go. Each package is valid for one year from the purchase date.

How charges work
Charges are calculated hourly. Usage is first deducted from your resource package. When the package balance reaches zero, the standard pay-as-you-go rate applies to any additional usage. Fees are typically deducted from your account in the following hour.
Example: 1,000,000 characters at the pay-as-you-go rate = $0.000033 × 1,000,000 = $33.
If your account balance goes past due, the service is suspended until you pay the outstanding balance. You cannot pay overdue bills by purchasing a new resource package.
Usage notes
API debugging consumes characters at the same rate as production calls.
Resource packages have a one-year validity period from the purchase date.
