Last Updated:Sep 05, 2025

In IDaaS, an application is a business application, system, or service. Applications enable Single Sign-On (SSO) and account synchronization.

Application types

IDaaS divides applications into the following types:

Priority

Integration type

Description

1

Application Marketplace

IDaaS provides pre-integrated application templates. These templates are quick to activate and save you time. We continuously add new templates.

2

Standard protocols

Use for third-party applications that are not in the Application Marketplace but support standard protocols, such as SAML or OpenID Connect (OIDC). These applications require only standard configuration.

3

Custom applications

Use for applications that are not in the Application Marketplace and do not support standard protocols. You can develop these applications to integrate with IDaaS by following our standards.

4

Legacy compatibility Future version

For applications that cannot be integrated using the methods above, IDaaS provides a password autofill feature. This feature securely stores passwords to enable SSO.
