This topic describes how to set repository member permissions for a Maven private repository.
Repository members
Log on to Alibaba Cloud DevOps Packages. On the Repository page, click the repository that you want to configure. In the left-side navigation pane, click Members. In the Members dialog box, view and configure members.
Each repository has a single owner and you can configure the repository to include multiple administrators and additional roles.

Role permissions
The creator of a repository is the owner and has the permission to add organization members and assign roles. Organization administrators can configure roles and permissions by using Global Settings. The predefined system roles include owner, administrator, developer, and member. These roles are fixed within the system and cannot be removed. Permissions can be adjusted for all roles except the owner.
The following table describes the default relationship between repository visibility and member roles:
Repository role | Repository visibility
Private repository | Visible within organization
Owner | Access, download, upload, delete, repository management, member management, and metadata management | Access, download, upload, delete, repository management, member management, and metadata management |
Administrator | Access, download, upload, delete, repository management, member management, and metadata management | Access, download, upload, delete, repository management, member management, and metadata management |
Developer | Access, download, upload, and metadata management | Access, download, upload, and metadata management |
Member | Access and download | Access and download |
Non-repository member | None | Access and download |
