This topic describes how to log on to Alibaba Cloud DevOps.
Logon with the root account
After purchasing Alibaba Cloud DevOps, you will receive an organization instance and can log on with the initial root account.
Log on to the Alibaba Cloud DevOps console with your Alibaba Cloud account or as a RAM administrator. Go to the Instances page, and select the name of the desired organization to view the organization details.
Click Go to Instance in the upper-right corner. Alternatively, click the Security Settings tab and click Access Now in the Root Account Management section.
Go to the Alibaba Cloud DevOps organization logon page and enter the root account credentials.
Click Sign In to complete the logon process.
The password of the initial root account is created by you when you purchase Alibaba Cloud DevOps. Later, you can change the root password in the console with your Alibaba Cloud account or as a RAM administrator.
The root account is the organization owner and has super administrator permissions. We recommend that you use this account only for initial configuration. After the configuration is complete, you can disable the root account in the Root Account Management section of the Security Settings tab. Once disabled, the account cannot be used to log on but can be re-enabled if needed.
Logon through other identity providers
Alibaba Cloud DevOps supports integration with a variety of identity providers (IdPs), including Alibaba Cloud and SAML IdPs. After the integration is configured, users can log on to Alibaba Cloud DevOps by using single sign-on (SSO) through an IdP. For more information, see Identity provider management.
Logon validity period
By default, the system logon session expires after 24 hours, after which users will be automatically logged off.
Account logoff
To log off, click your profile picture in the upper-right corner and select Log Out.
