End users can connect to cloud computers in WUYING Workspace by using multiple types of WUYING clients. You can allow end users to use only specific types of clients to connect to cloud computers based on your business requirements. This topic describes how to restrict the types of WUYING clients for end users to connect to cloud computers.
Feature overview
The Logon Method Control feature is used to limit the types of clients that are allowed to connect to cloud computers.
Limits
In WUYING Workspace, end users can use the Windows clients, macOS clients, and web clients of Alibaba Cloud Workspace to connect to cloud computers.
Procedure
To manage the types of clients that are allowed to connect to cloud computers, you can perform the following steps when you configure a policy:
Log on to the WUYING Workspace console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
In the upper-left corner of the top navigation bar, select a region.
On the Policies page, click Create Policy.
In the Create Policy panel, enter the name of the policy that you want to create as prompted.
Click Logon Method Control. In the dialog box that appears, select the types of clients that your end users can use to connect to cloud computers based on your business requirements.
NoteBy default, all types of clients are selected.
Click Create.
After the policy is created, you can view the policy on the Policies page.
