Integrate your Agent with WeChat by scanning a QR code in the Agent Management Center.

Overview

After you configure the WeChat channel in the Agent Management Center and scan a QR code to bind, you can chat with your Agent directly in WeChat.

Prerequisites

  • An Agent has been created in the Agent Management Center.

Channel configuration

  1. Go to the Agent Management Center.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, select your Agent type, such as JVS Computer.

  3. Click Channel Configuration.

  4. In the Actions column of the target Agent, click View/Configure Channel.

  5. On the WeChat card, click Configure Now.

On the page that appears, complete QR code pairing:

  • Currently, the Hermes Agent type is not supported.

  • Requires cloud computer image version: Windows 3.2.18 or later, or Linux 3.0.10 or later. Restart your cloud computer to update.

  1. Click Send Now. The system sends an SMS or email with an access link to the authorized user.

  2. The authorized user opens the binding page through the URL in the SMS or email to get a QR code. You can also obtain this URL directly in the console.

  3. Use WeChat to scan the QR code to complete bot binding.

  4. Chat with the bot in WeChat to verify the integration.

Note

If a bot is already bound, scanning the QR code replaces it.
