If a cloud computer's current office network (formerly workspace) cannot meet your business requirements, for example, you need to use the shared storage (NAS) feature or change the connection type and logon settings, you can migrate the cloud computer from the current office network to a target office network. This article describes how to perform the migration.
Background
Scope
You can migrate between convenience office networks, but you cannot migrate between AD office networks.
Impact
The cloud computer's office network will change, but its user assignment and data will not be affected.
After a successful migration, the system automatically sends an email to inform convenience users of the new office network ID (formerly workspace ID). When users log on to the Wuying Workspace client using the new office network ID, the logon method (such as the network access method and whether Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) are required) is determined by the migrated office network.
Linux-based cloud computers should be manually restarted after migration.
NoteA Linux-based cloud computer may temporarily lose network connectivity during migration. This does not affect Windows-based cloud computers.
Prerequisites
The cloud computer must be Stopped or Running.
The current office network of the cloud computer and the target office network are in the same region.
The current office network and the target office network are both convenient office networks.
Procedure
Log on to the Elastic Desktop Service Enterprise console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
In the top navigation bar, select a region.
On the Cloud Computers page:
Single migration: Find the cloud computer, and in its Actions column, click More and select Migrate.
Batch migration: Select the cloud computers to migrate, and then at the bottom of the page, choose .
NoteWhen migrating multiple cloud computers at the same time, ensure that the selected cloud computers belong to the same office network.
In the Migrate dialog box, select the target office network from the Destination Office Network list, and click Confirm.
